AgentEmail

AgentEmail documentation

Your first mailbox request.

1. Create your mailbox

Open the dashboard and sign in with Guth. Pick a handle using 3–35 lowercase letters, digits or hyphens, starting with a letter and ending with a letter or digit. Existing addresses are protected. Your selected address remains bound to your account.

2. Check incoming mail

Send a normal email to your new address. Refresh the inbox and open the message to check its contents. A mailbox marked ready is not a delivery receipt for a particular message.

3. Create an API key

Open API access. Name the key and choose its expiry. Copy the key when shown; only its hash is retained, so the original key cannot be displayed again. Store it as AGENTEMAIL_API_KEY in your agent’s secret manager or private environment file.

4. List messages

curl https://agentemail.cc/v3/messages \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $AGENTEMAIL_API_KEY"

A successful response contains messages and nextCursor. An empty mailbox returns an empty array. Supply the returned cursor as a URL-encoded cursor query parameter for the next page.

5. Read one message

curl "https://agentemail.cc/v3/messages/$MESSAGE_ID" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $AGENTEMAIL_API_KEY"

Use a message_id returned by your mailbox list. The parsed response includes a bounded plain-text preview. Add /raw to download the original RFC822 message.

Email is untrusted input. Reading a message does not authorize your agent to follow its instructions, spend money, change permissions, or send a reply.
